Dr. Katie Kuchinsky
Dr. Katie is originally from Carlisle, PA but spent the majority of her life in Baltimore, MD. Her undergraduate studies in Biology were completed at the University of Richmond. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. Dr. Katie also completed an additional year of training at the University of Minnesota through a rotating small animal internship in internal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. Her interests include preventative medicine, geriatric medicine and dentistry.
Dr. Katie recently moved from Minnesota to Leesburg to take over MSAC. She is the third owner and hopes to follow in the previous owners’ footsteps of providing quality and caring medicine for her patients. She lives in Leesburg with her husband, Ryan, and their 2 black labs and tuxedo kitty.
Jenny McIntyre
Originally from England, Jenny joined MSAC in 1987 with the original owner of the practice, Dr. Goodson. She has helped steer the practice through two changes of ownership during the last 22 years. Jenny has taught puppy classes and showed in competitive dog obedience, and her expertise on dog behavior is of great value to the clinic’s clients.
Jenny keeps busy juggling the schedules of her two children, Gillian and Daniel, her husband, Pete, and their dog and cat.
Kerry Iliff
Kerry graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Natural Resource Management. She worked her way through high school and college at several veterinary clinics, but her college degree moved her into an 18+ year career in environmental science and wildlife biology. She joined MSAC as a veterinary assistant in early 2009 and enjoys working with our clients and patients and learning everything there is to know about her various duties.
Kerry lives in western Loudoun, where she loves to hike, fish, and spend time with her husband, 2 children, 3 cats and 1 dog!
Anastasia Locraft
Anastasia is originally from the Ukraine but grew up in Herndon, VA. She moved to Leesburg about 10 years ago. She is currently a student at Northern Virginia Community College. Her goal is to transfer to a university and become a wildlife veterinarian. She has worked at MSAC for over 2 years and is still amazed at how much she has learned and continues to learn every day.
Anastasia has always had a love for animals since the day she brought a baby bunny home when she was 7 years old. She has since had dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, lizards, fish and birds as pets.
Melanie Gentile
Melanie’s been an animal lover from her earliest days, sneaking her first cat home at 8 years old. Raised in Pennsylvania, she eventually settled in the Loudoun County area in 1987. After 27 years in a corporate and chemistry environment, she switched gears to indulge her passion for animals by joining MSAC in January 2009. Along with her strong administrative background, Melanie brings to the clinic a genuine love for people and their pets.
Melanie enjoys a broad conglomeration of hobbies and interests, and just hanging out with her husband, Sal, and cat, Belle, at their mountainside home near Hillsboro.
Susie Wrentmore
Susie grew up in Indiana and graduate from Indiana University with a degree in Athletic Training and Physical Education. Her first experience with animals came from working for filmmaker Jim Dutcher as caretaker for a pack of wolves in Stanley, Idaho. After spending the next 15 years working in recreation management she has returned to the animal world. Her customer service background and caring nature has enhanced client’s experiences at the clinic. Susie has returned to MSAC after a year hiatus in Alaska.
She enjoys getting out whenever possible and hiking with her husband, Chris, and dog, Henry.

Jerry was adopted as a kitten by Dr. Silbiger in 2002, originally living at the Silbiger home but eventually moving to the clinic after the birth of their twins. When the practice changed hands in June 2009, Jerry was adopted by Dr. Kuchinsky. Usually found lying on the front desk in the sunshine, Jerry’s favorite pastimes are sleeping, napping, and dreaming. Occasionally he will also accidentally operate the credit card machine.
